Joining with Trinity Presbyterian and Tustin PC, First Presbyterian Church of Santa Ana was able to launch an after-school kid’s program that began Tuesday, March 18th for 1st through 6th grades. Kids are now invited to join their friends every Tuesday afternoon from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for homework help, tutoring and a small snack at absolutely NO COST to them or their parents.
The mission of the program is three-fold:
1. Provide a safe place for kids, avoiding walking home to an empty house or staying on the busy city streets
2. Guide students who may be behind in school to keep up with their studies and homework
3. Create a living witness of Christ’s love and hope for these young lives being touched by the volunteers and staff working with them
God is blessing the hearts of these kids! Please be in prayer for the continued ministry to these children and their families.
